A growing Medical Communications agency is looking to bring on an Associate Medical Director to provide medical and scientific expertise and support to the Scientific Innovation team in the development and dissemination of accurate and compliant medical information for healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical and scientific review of medical communications materials, including promotional materials, medical education programs, and scientific publications.
Collaborate with the scientific team to ensure that medical information is accurate, up-to-date and consistent with current medical practices.
Act as a liaison between the medical communications team and healthcare providers, regulatory agencies and payers to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Participate in the development of medical education programs and initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and healthcare practices.
Attend and participate in scientific meetings, conferences and other professional organizations as necessary.
Maintain current knowledge of medical practices, trends and advancements through ongoing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
PharmD, Ph.D, MD degree from an accredited Institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical communications setting
Strong medical writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to providing accurate and compliant medical information to healthcare professionals.
