Manager - Commercial Data Specialist (Digital)
A global biotech company is looking for a Digital Commercial Data Specialist in the greater Boston area. This role is poised to make an immediate and lasting difference for the company by supporting the evolution of the Commercial Organization's omni channel marketing capabilities by ensuring the company is effectively governing and utilizing a wide range of digital marketing data sources. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical strategic problem-solving individual with deep knowledge in digital marketing data.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop short-term and long-term digital marketing data strategy, evaluate data sources, and define a roadmap for onboarding and integrating digital marketing data
- Support brand and analytics leads in the development of business requirements for digital marketing data, and the definition, documentation, and maintenance of business rules
- Lead the development and implementation of a digital marketing data hub with appropriate data architecture and data model to synthesize, transform, and standardize disparate digital marketing data sources such as Web, Email, social media, and Mobile
- Proactively manage expectations and issues directly with marketing and data vendors, ensure data delivery accurately
- Create and provide access to mastered, integrated, and analytics ready digital marketing data sets to support Marketing Mix analysis and Next Best Action modeling
- Support the development of a robust KPI, visualization and reporting framework
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Major in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Business Management, or related subject
- 5+ years of data management experience with at least 3 years focusing on managing digital marketing data within a commercial organization
- Understanding of digital and omnichannel marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-graduate degree
- Ability to use data and analysis to form recommendations
- Experience with data governance programs
- Experienced in pharmaceutical industry
- Working knowledge of Informatica MDM and Veeva CRM
- Strong technical fluency in SQL and Excel required, experience with Snowflake, Tableau, and Google Analytics
- Experience in data modeling, data architecture, data quality management, and data storage / warehouse solutions involving Web, Email, Mobile, social media
