My client is a leading CRO who is looking for a senior expert to join their team as a Business Development Director. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical environment in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Using your existing network within the market you will establish and maintain relationships with clients to grow the business.
- Identify and build new business for the company to reach personal and team targets
- Evaluate the company's business goals and share information with management using Salesforce (CRM) and develop sales plan and achieve sales targets
- Be an enthusiastic team player who strives to excel
Requirements
- 8 years' experience in a Business Development position in a CRO and pharmaceutical
- Attained a bachelors degree in a science related field
- Profound knowledge of a CRO and requirements in pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive knowledge in drug development and R&D process
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Fluent in English and German (other languages are a plus)
