A company becoming one of the leaders in the chemical and technology industry are looking for an extremely experienced individual to become the Global Head of Industrial Processes in Information Technology. You will be responsible for the global management of all IT systems for internal chemical production processes. The main target is to drive a higher level of automation, productivity, and safety through innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities:
Plan, build and run the central IT systems for chemical production processes
Management of Manufacturing Execution Systems and all related systems globally
Design and continuously develop the global architecture of IT systems for chemical production
Management of global team and of global budget
Project management of IT projects, including steering of internal and external resources
Management of demand and requirements for chemical industrial processes globally
Continuously identify improvement areas jointly with the operational business colleagues
Prioritization of all activities jointly with operational business colleagues using Kanban boards
Your skills and competences:
University degree as an engineer specializing in process engineering or a comparable qualification
Very good technical knowledge of the area for which you are responsible, including MES architecture and the production control system.
Ability to work in a team, intercultural competence, organizational skills, careful and reliable work ethic, analytical thinking, flexibility, communication skills
Willingness to travel on business in Germany and abroad
