Head of business development EMEA
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Switzerland ( This role is home based and thus can be located in any market across Europe)
The role reports directly to the Company CEO and is a member of the Leadership Team.
For this role 25%+ travel is required.
Responsibilities:
The EMEA Business Development and Regional Sales Director role will be responsible for :
Selecting the most appealing markets in Europe for the companys products, market prepartion and full P & L responsibility for EMEA region.
Achieve revenue and profit targets of the EMEA region.
Development of market strategies for EMEA including sales channel selection.
Management of contract negotiations
Development of pricing strategies and new business development models for EMEA region.
Develop regional growth strategies such as product that will include customer segmentation.
Management of targeted campaigns that will highlight the companys USP's whilst addressing consumer needs.
Management of all aspects of logistics including distrbution and manufacturing.
Establish relationships with key opinion leaders across EMEA including clinical centers.
Adaptation of the companys marketing materials to meet the needs of the local regulations and Global Marketing team.
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Business, Science or related field.
Proven track record of 10 years + in selling medical devices or consumer health products in Europe. Experience in selling durable medical equipment is preferred.
Strong experience in developing new business opportunities in the medical field.
At least 3 years experience in direct to consumer marketing.
Experience in managing B2B models including negotiation og agreements with distributors and sales agents.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You should be able to generate strategic options and develop and propose new solutions.
Natural ability to spot business opportunities with business management skills and entrepreneurial spirit
Self-starter, ability to learn quickly and develop skills in a fast-changing environment
Highly committed and winning attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English and at least one other major European language
