My client is a Molecular Diagnostics company which prides itself in innovating and evolving. They are looking for a Market Analyst to join their team. This role will be based in Singapore. In this role, you will be engaging with the entire data workflow from data asset curation, integration, modeling, visualization, and high-level communication. You will also employ descriptive, predictive, causal, and prescriptive analytic techniques to further inform the strategic direction of the business.
The Market Analyst will be responsible for:
- Develop systems and processes to monitor markets, competitors and customers
- Develop and maintain data models and visualizations, provide market and business insights
- Partner on specific projects and provide analysis to help the team increase marketing effectiveness and growth opportunities for marketing campaigns, media optimization, funnel gaps, and channel performance
- Deploy machine learning models that will boost activities
- Build/manage reports and dashboards to provide a uniform representation of daily management - Regional, Market, Business Area, and Channel etc
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants providing marketing services to the company, including the assessment and acquisition of necessary secondary market research reports and curating of libraries of market research reports and tools
- Work closely with other teams to ensure all analytics are sound and in-line with business budgets and forecasts
- Develop leading indicators and other analyses for better downstream product forecasting
- Support the ongoing automation of allocation and other inventory data in coordination with the product marketing management team
The ideal Market Analyst should have:
B.S. in quantitative discipline (Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business/Finance, etc.) with 3+ years' experience OR M.S in quantitative discipline with 1 years' experience
Demonstrated history of successful implementation of business analytics and aptitude for technology including visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, Excel)
Working knowledge of relational database query languages (PL/SQL, T-SQL) will be preferred
Working knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical programming languages (R, Python, SAS, SPSS) is beneficial
Exposure to marketing metrics like campaign ROI, funnel management, retention analysis is an added advantage
CRM, Digital Marketing Analytics, SEO (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Marketing automation) is beneficial
IVD or life sciences industry experience preferred (or other highly regulated environment)
Demonstrated history of deployment of Machine Learning algorithms, including : OLS, CART, Random Forests, SVM, PCA, K-means, KNN, Logistic Regression, Naรฏve-Bayes etc is preferred
Exposure to Big Data techniques and languages (Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, Pig) is beneficial
Communicates effectively and strong team player/collaborator with various internal constituents, customers and other stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills; able to multi-task across broad number of products and disease states
