The Director, Oncology Marketing is a member of the US Commercial team and is responsible for leading commercial activities which will maximize the net sales, market share and operating income of a leading Oncology product for the US. This person will lead and direct marketing activities in line with brand strategy and objectives.
The Oncology Marketing Director will work alongside key senior management and other stakeholders to inform business decisions. This is a group of highly-motivated individuals who want to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the brand indication lead to develop the US business plan and adjust as necessary to address changes in the marketplace.
* Lead and further develop the cross-functional team responsible for execution of the US commercial plan as well as ensuring effective collaboration with the Global team.
* Analyze and assimilate market data/intelligence and incorporate findings to develop strategies and tactical plans.
* Manage the overall advertising and promotion budget for assigned products/indications within the oncology portfolio for the US, including prioritization of tactics which will drive optimal brand performance in the US market
* Lead the development of marketing materials and ensure timely approval of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure effective roll out of marketing materials to the field team through plan of action meetings (POA).
Requirements:
* 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
* Strong Oncology background.
* Previous product launch experience.
* Strong collaboration and leadership skills Positive, energetic attitude and initiative with strong work ethic.
* Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
