Principal Scientist - Method Development

A drug manufacturing company is seeking a hardworking scientist to join their globally renowned team. You will be part of the large chemical R&D team and working with the brightest minds within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Piloting and helping with the development of synthetic pathways and manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs and intermediates.
- Conducting laboratory research, such as kilo lab scale work
- Assisting on cross functional teams within R&D, and even across other teams within the company
- Supervising over process development and supporting the team as needed
- Using industry concepts to help with the growth of the company principles to achieve set goals in an efficient and timely fashion
Key Qualifications
- D in Analytical or Organic Chemistry preferred plus 7+ years of industry experience
- Strong understanding of analytical tools like HPLC, GC and NMR is required
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical method development and validations all under cGMP guidelines
- Ability to work in cross-functional environment
- Efficient and organized work method to balance multiple tasks and achieve goals
- Ability to mentor others as a role model and to effectively train analysts on analytical methods and techniques
