Summary:
A cutting edge biotech located in Southern California is searching for a Research Associate to join their research team. This biotech is focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients suffering from fatal illnesses such as cancer, autoimmune, and inflammatory diseases. This position offers the candidate the opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic team that works towards developing novel therapeutics.
Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing projects with day-to-day laboratory benchwork
- Perform cell culture with flasks, bags, and bioreactors
- Collaborate with other relevant groups to meet the team's goals
- Develop, scale-up, and optimize cGMP manufacturing process transfers
Requirements:
- B.S. in Immunology/Cell Biology (or related field) with ideally 2+ years related experience or M.S. with around 1 year of industry experience.
- Academic experience will be considered
- Experience with cell culture (T Cells A PLUS)
- Flow cytometry is highly valued
- Previous experience with gene therapy or biologics (Early to Late Development) preferred
