Vaccine Development Scientist for a Leading Pharma company

The Development Scientist will have the following Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team to characterize mRNA vaccine candidates, and support platform technology development.
* Lead analytical activities to drive development and optimization of both clinical and commercial manufacturing processes for the mRNA and DNA.
* Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams on vaccine programs to develop RNA and DNA production plans by applying your expertise in nucleic acid research.
* Prepare oral/written reports of scientific findings and support project documentation and CMC submissions.
* Solely responsible for carrying out and documenting experiments, interpreting the data, and maintaining good scientific processes.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following skill set:

* Open to any degree in a relevant scientific field, with a preference for advanced degrees in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
* Proven history of success in Nucleic Acid Research, this can be displayed by publications/presentations/posters, regulatory patent filings, industry experience.
* Experience in Gene Therapy or with mRNA vaccines required.
* Broad CMC support experience with specific understanding of overall analytical development activities and process development.
