Senior Research Services Manager (Clinical Operations)

Job Description
This client is looking to bring in someone either located in Mexico or Brazil to help lead the Clinical Research team and help accelerate the development of life saving drugs. They are one of the world's leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organizations, and you will be effectively managing and facilitating the development of research Services/Operations Staff while supporting the needs of the Research and Project Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of process improvement, emphasizing streamlined processes, business value, and client satisfaction.
- Escalate quality-related issues in clinical trial management findings appropriately.
- Provide feedback on the development and deployment of formal training tools and presentations.
- Implement agreed-upon corrective actions and additional training as needed.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals for assigned staff, setting clear department-defined goals.
- Communicate with internal and external clients as required.
- Demonstrate adept interpersonal skills and influence team members and peers when needed.
- Effectively handle individual, group, and inter-group/departmental conflicts.
- Ensure punctual reporting of hours for both personal and staff activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of relevant clinical trial experience required.
- Demonstrated track record of effectively leading projects or study teams.
- Experience in healthcare and/or research settings.
- Profound familiarity with Clinical Research, including expertise across all clinical trial phases. Late Phase experience strongly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.
- Skillful in successful collaboration with clinical project teams and other departments at all hierarchical levels.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- High sensitivity to cross-cultural considerations.
- Insight into team dynamics, processes, and development.
- Desirable foreign language skills.
- Travel requirement of approximately 10%, including domestic and/or international travel.
