Senior Manager, Medical Information and Review, Medical Affairs
Our team is currently working with a rapidly growing Boston-based RNA interference (RNAi) company that is looking for a Senior Manger to head up the Medical Information and Review team! The successful candidate will leverage therapeutic and product knowledge to ensure that all materials developed internally for external use are scientifically accurate, supported by the literature, and aligned with the medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as internal product expert and medical reviewer and approver for company developed materials for Global and the US for assigned products
Provide expert clinical and technical product knowledge to ensure all materials developed for external use are scientifically accurate, supported by the literature, and aligned with medical strategy
Contribute to medical information content development to provide accurate, fair-balanced, and timely medical information to health care professionals (HCPs) and other internal and external stakeholders in response to unsolicited inquiries
Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key expertise areas such as Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial, and Compliance
Participate in key meetings (e.g. medical and sales meetings) and business initiatives as needed for assigned TA(s) and share medical information knowledge and expertise
Ensure activities are carried out in a compliant and timely manner
Support Medical Information activities at various scientific congresses as needed (e.g. booth coverage, competitive intelligence, congress reports, etc.)

Understanding of broad concepts within Medical Affairs and potential implications across the organization
Strong strategic, problem-solving, risk mitigation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage time while balancing numerous projects with a sense of urgency

Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to drive process improvements and innovations based on key learnings
Resourceful, creative, energetic, and results-oriented
Qualifications
Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, or PhD) with 4+ years of relevant industry experience in Medical Information/Medical Affairs
Prior experience in performing medical review preferred
Experience in rare diseases preferred
Full vaccination against COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is required
