A company leading the way in the tobacco and chemical industry are currently looking for a senior sales manager who will maintain key accounts on a global scale. You will have a direct impact on the success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving sales objectives for customers in Key Account portfolio in accordance with sales plan (prices, volumes, payments) determined by the Global Head of Sales and in alignment with Customer Service
- Ensures information flow within the Sales team and other functions (R&D, Quality, Production, Technical Servicesโฆ.)
- Close collaboration with Global Head of Sales to establish short-, medium- and long-term sales plan for prices, volumes, payments
- Define and implement action plans for customers in accordance with sales and profit targets as set
- Responsible for the realization of the sales plan for defined customers and for the development of a pipeline of potential customers
- Build close link into the marked in order to observe trends, customer needs, new developments and to review market segments regularly
- Maintain close contact with customers at all levels in order to sustain and develop excellent relationship
- Supports the Global Head of Marketing and R&D in analyzing the global tobacco market in order to optimize the strategy towards the direct customers and to contribute to the development of a marketing strategy
- Implement the so defined strategy in his given area of responsibility
- Travelling (>40% of work time)
Requirements
- Fluent English
- Several years of experience in key account management
- Experience within the Tobacco industry would be a huge
- International sales experience
- Based in Switzerland and open to travel to office in Basel 2/3 days per week.
