Responsibilities of a Senior Bioinformatician;
- Planning and developing bioinformatics toolchains and pipeline for NGS diagnostics
- Maintaining end-user software and web applications
- Bioinformatics data analysis and algorithm development
- Working alongside medical bioinformatics and reporting teams
- Facilitate in the standardization & management of SOPs
As a Senior Bioinformatician, you will need;
- Minimum (with work experience) masters degree in Bioinformatics, Informatics (or related)
- Broad experience with NGS dataset process handling
- Understand, utilize & build tolls in Python and Perl
- 2 years' experience of software development
- Experience with scalable cloud environments (AWS Preferred)
