In the area of DSP (downstream processing) you are at the heart of the company. Our production is THE place where it all happens. Nothing works without you. Here you play a key role in producing the active ingredients for drugs that are used all over the world.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Participation in downstream production runs for the purification of biotechnologically manufactured active pharmaceutical ingredients under GMP conditions
* Preparation and follow-up of the production areas and systems
* Monitoring and control of chromatography and tangential flow filtration systems
* Implementation of filtration steps (e.g. deep / virus filtration)
* GMP-compliant documentation of production campaigns in accordance with manufacturing regulations
* Implementation of analytical in-process controls (conductivity, pH value, photometric
* Protein determination) and input of the measurement results into a laboratory management system
* Working with SAP (e.g. material logistics, tracking of orders or control of process orders)
* Participation in internal projects and maintenance of the GMP status
Key requirements of the Technical Assistant Protein Purification include:
- Ideally completed training/apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician or BSc. degree with major course work in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science or related field
- Some laboratory experience
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm towards dealing with laboratory technology equipment
- Flexible, independent and collaborative personality
- Good command of spoken and written English and B2 German
- Highly motivated, solution oriented and well-organized
- Ability to take direction and learn new skills
