Territory Sales Manager - NY
A leading company with a focus on Instruments and Reagents is currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager in the NY region. The Ideal candidate will have a selling background and significant experience calling on hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and biotech within the specified region. This person must be highly energetic with a proven track record of exceeding their targets.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on monthly and annual sales targets.
- Acquire new customers and further develop the existing customer base to exceed territory revenue goals.
- Ongoing customer care to guarantee customer satisfaction, i.e. regular visits, telephone and written correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to share information and best practices.
- Experience performing product demonstrations, installation, and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, advanced degree in the life sciences preferred.
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Experience selling into hospitals and research facilities.
- Ability to translate data and analytics into an action plan.
