Vice President - Clinical Development (Home Based, Europe)
A immuno-oncology biotech is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Development for their Oncology programmes.

As a Clinical Development expert you will be responsible for;
- Significant work with all Development Drug Phases ( I-III ) with a focus in delivering Clinical Strategy, Team Leadership, patient safety, trial design etc.
- Support the Stop-Go decision making process with the Chief Medical Officer and determining the most effective use of Key Targets, Molecules, Budget etc.
- Responsible for budget maintenance and allocating funds according to research results, strategy and company decisions.
- Work with regulatory bodies (FDA/EMA) to bring drugs further into filling and submission.
- Manage a team of Clinical Scientists, Medical Professionals and other related functions - inspiring them and supporting them on their own career development.
- Guide, consult and ensure Clinical Development Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are effective and align with the strategy you create.
- Act as a Key driver to multiple programmes, supporting internal colleagues with your experience and helping external stakeholders with your in-depth product, scientific and medical knowledge of the pipeline.
As a clinical development project lead you will need;
- M.D or equivalent (Board Certification is not required but strong Onco/Haem experience within the industry is essential).
- Previous work within oncology- either in Solid or Haematological mainly in the industry (Biotech, Pharma or CRO).
- Strong Clinical Development experiences, ideally both in Pharma and Biotech but either is fine.
- Track record of working globally.
- Excellent stakeholder management, internally and externally - good communication will be key.
- Fluent in English.
- Enjoys fast moving, highly scientific working environments and not afraid to help other colleagues or departments when needed.
- Able to travel to the office (France) 2-3 days a month (or when needed).
