My client is a leading international manufacturer of self-expandable implants in the medical device industry. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to support rapid growth, globally.
Responsibilities:
- Acquisition and support of new customers:
- Preparation and follow-up of customer visits,
- trade fair and conference visits,
- Participation in the design of marketing materials,
- Evaluation of inquiries, feasibility analyses and preparation of offers,
- Participation in the creation of the series offer,
- Technology consulting and technology marketing
- Support for (key) customers, support for projects relating to customer communication, preparation and follow-up of customer meetings and presentations, obtaining customer feedback:
- Monitoring of series production with regard to forecasting, implementation of customer requests in terms of flexibility, ramp-ups & ramp-downs, etc.
- generation / acquisition of new projects,
- Competent customer advice and comprehensive supply,
- Preparing and conducting price negotiations
- Participation in drafting contracts (NDA, development or supply agreement)
- Market analysis and processing
- Analysis of new requirements for production, technology and services
Requirements:
- Bachelor / Master in mechanical / process / bio-medical engineering, material technology or similar
- Strong analytic skills
- Experience in medical device field such as; product or process development, project management and design control / regulatory
- Sales experience, ideally in B2B
- Ability to travel
- Languages: English (fluent), German (basic)
