Title: Medical Science Liaison - Critical Care
Territory: Northeast Corridor
A phase II pharmaceutical company is expanding its Field Medical team with the addition of an experienced Medical Science Liaison in the Northeast Corridor. Representing an exciting, novel pipeline of Critical Care treatments, you will act as a key facilitator of information exchange towards the ultimate advancement of patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusting relationships and collaborative partnerships with KOLs and HCPs
- Facilitate KOL participation in company and investigator-sponsored trials, providing ongoing support throughout
- Demonstrate scientific and clinical expertise in Critical Care, acting as a resource for KOLs, healthcare and academic institutions, and others
- Assist in the development and execution of medical affairs plans, tactics, and activities
- Communicate competitive and medical/scientific intelligence garnered in field activities to relevant internal stakeholders
- Represent the company and products at medical congresses, conferences, and other relevant events
Skills & Qualifications
- Reside in the greater New York City (NY/NJ/CT) metropolitan area
- 1+ years of MSL experience is strongly preferred; relevant Medical Affairs or clinical experience may be considered
- MD, PharmD, or PhD in a related field preferred; MS, RPh, or CRNA may be considered
- Anesthesiology experience is required
- Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills are required
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required

- Base salary of $200,000-$220,000
