QC Analyst

Our client, a mid-sized, established biologics firm, is working to produce innovative biologic solutions with multiple products in pipeline from pre-clinical to the commercialization stage.
The QC Analyst will help the QC department and provide assistance with the quality control testing of specific products. This individual will work closely with the QC leadership to ensure that quality standards are met and that the products are in compliance with all applicable regulations.
The QC Analyst will:
- Conduct QC testing on tissue samples, including sterility, endotoxin, bioburden, cell characterization, flow cytometry, microorganism identification, and gram staining.
- Aid in environmental monitoring (EM) of the facility by performing routine tests and processing samples.
- Inspect incoming materials, reagents, microbiology media, and both in-process and final products. Review and manage test results from third-party sources to ensure proper disposition of tissues and grafts.
- Assist the Manager in maintaining laboratory stock of media and reagents, and in ordering laboratory supplies.
- Support and implement qualification/validation protocols for QC testing methods.
The QC Analyst has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor in Science degree or Associate in Science with at least two years of experience in a FDA regulated environment
- Prior work experience with GMP regulations
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
