Summary:

A groundbreaking biotech company is looking for a Network/Cloud Infrastructure Sr. Staff Engineer with experience in network administration and multi-cloud operations. This role is hybrid to the bay Area, CA and is a contract to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

-Implement, maintain, and monitor enterprise on-premises and cloud-based network services

-Use GCP, AWS, Azure to support and develop cloud network connections, policies and security policies

- Build test environments to ensure all changes, inspections, audits and upgrades are done effectively

- Knowledge on resolving platform issues on-prem and in public cloud platforms

- High level of proficiency in Misco and Meraki routers, switches and WiFi access points

- Strong knowledge in network operations - LAN, WiFi, WAN, cloud connections to GCP, AWS, Azure, and SaaS applications across US and EU regions

- Certification in one major network (CCNP) and at least one cloud network specialty including GCP Cloud Network Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking-Specialty

Key Qualifications:

• BA/BS required in Computer Sciences, Engineering or IT related discipline
• Preferred industry knowledge in pharmaceutical or health care.
• At least 6 years of network administration and multi-cloud operations experience
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewall Administration and Maintenance, including GlobalProtect and Prisma
• Experience with at least one cloud networking platform (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) Azure and Google Cloud preferred
• IPSEC tunnel administration and troubleshooting
