Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer specializing in High Content Imaging to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high content imaging technologies and a proven track record of providing exceptional technical support and service to clients in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high content imaging systems and equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of imaging instruments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of high content imaging systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product development to address customer needs and resolve technical issues.
- Document service activities, including equipment logs, service reports, and customer communication, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends in high content imaging to provide proactive support and recommendations to customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology, biotechnology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
- Strong technical background in high content imaging systems, including familiarity with microscopy, image analysis software, and automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting complex instrumentation and performing instrument installations and upgrades.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
