We recently partnered with a leading Oncology company focused on on treating cancer in ways that are much more likely to get approved and actually help patients. Our client is looking for a Head of Statistical Programming for their highly anticipated program with indications in phase 1, 2 & 3.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of statistical programmers
- Developing and implementing statistical programming standards and best practices
- Collaborating with scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to design and implement complex statistical analyses
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of statistical software and tools
- Contributing to the development and execution of the department's strategic goals
- Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in statistical programming and methodology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in statistical programming, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of statisticians and programmers
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and principles
- Experience with a variety of statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
