A fast-growing international pharmaceutical company is expanding its presence in Germany and looking to add a new specialist to its QC department located in Nordrhein Westfalen. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing process efficiency, managing equipment and reagents, performing equipment maintenance, optimizing productivity, implementing laboratory systems, conducting analyses, providing training, devising solutions, managing projects, and communicating with clients and outsourcing labs.

Your responsibilities:

- Be responsible for implementing and coordinating systems to achieve key goals.
- Train other employees on common processes and systems to achieve results.
- Procure necessary equipment, materials, and reagents for laboratory needs.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance of instruments and equipment, and manage sample flow, reference standard, and stability management.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and technical excellence, and manage operational improvement initiatives.

Your profile:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry with experience in Quality Control/GMP environment being a plus.
- B2 level German and fluent English.
- Strong computer operation skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of analytical testing methods are essential.
