Our client is an industry leader in the global pharmaceutical space who specializes in branded & generic medicine. Over decades they have solidified their global focus by increasing presence in the key markets of multiple countries, including US, European & Asian.
The team is looking for a qualified R&D Scientist to report into the Director of R&D. The primary function of this role will be to operate as the SME on formulation, process development & technology transfer as applied to parenteral formulations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an individual contributor to lead formulation, process development and product characterization
- Develop lab-scale, pilot-scale & commercial-scale manufacturing processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and provide necessary support when needed
- Provide SME in collaboration with external partners such as CDMOs, CROs, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Minimum of Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related scientific field. Ph.D. largely preferred
- 2 year minimum working with sterile injectables & OSD. Multiple dosage form exposure preferred
- Deep understanding of pre-formulation & formulation studies
- Experience with 505(b)(1), 505(b)(2) or 505(j) submissions
