Are you passionate about Software Engineering? We are seeking a highly proficient Software Engineer adept in C++ programming, preferably with experience in medical devices. Tasks will involve enhancing and re-factoring Matlab code utilised for research purposes into polished C++ code base.
Responsibilities also encompass implementing innovative ultrasound techniques, hardware programming, optimising data acquisition, real-time image reconstruction, utilising parallel and GPU-supported methods for data processing, and performing cloud-based data analysis.
Your role and responsibilities:
Creating software applications for medical ultrasound technologies
Enhancing and refining analysis routines, with a focus on parallel and GPU methods
Designing and constructing the entire stack for optimal speed and scalability
Crafting and integrating algorithms for signal processing
Upgrading and converting Matlab functions and code into C++
Your Skills
Demonstrated track record in software engineering
Strong programming proficiency in C++, MATLAB, or equivalent
Sound understanding of Linux operations
Familiarity with IEC 62304 is advantageous
Proficient in Git version control
Valuing clean, well-documented code
Experience within the medical device or health-care is preferable
Solid grasp of English; proficiency in German is advantageous
